Biography
I have 7+ years of experience working as a proactive and detail-oriented designer, art director, and project manager in Honolulu and San Francisco. I’ve designed for many companies and organizations including: HONOLULU Magazine, Interisland Terminal, Honolulu MuseumToca Boca, and Sephora. I'm fortunate for the opportunities to work on and contribute to a wide range of design projects thru the years, such as:
• Branding for art, design, film, and innovation events held at a creative bookstore and workspace in Honolulu
• Art direction for fashion editorial features in several Hawaii print publications
• Digital assets, in-store fixture, and influencer event concepting for the launch of a new lipstick line
• Magazine design for a super fun digital toys company
• Social media brand and content planning and execution for a suite of design events in SF
I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts, Design from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2010, and a Product Management certificate of completion from General Assembly SF in 2017.
Much of my career has been spent volunteering for AIGA—the professional association for design. I have served on the board of AIGA Honolulu for six years with four of those years as chapter president. Additionally, I served 2 years on the AIGA board nominations committee.

What's Next
I've spent years fearlessly leading and working in the Honolulu design community, so now working on my own career growth in San Francisco. I am passionate about the beauty and fashion verticals of tech; and also what tech and impactful design can do for good.
I am currently a senior design contractor at Sephora, and I am seeking freelance work as a senior designer or art director. I aspire to contribute my best work, yet still be challenged daily. I never want to stop growing.
